What we need Marketing and Social Media Volunteer,  Job Description Position: The Marketing and Social Media Volunteer is a volunteer position for a person who is passionate about supporting families who have a seriously ill child. The Marketing and Social Media person will be detail oriented, tech-savvy and have a strong sense of initiative and excellent organization skills for this position. This position works closely with our COO and CEO to support reVIV with email, social media, and direct mail campaigns. The ideal person will be able to work well in a fast-paced, energetic environment with a positive attitude and impeccable time-management skills. This individual should be comfortable working autonomously as well as with volunteers and teammates and must excel at managing multiple tasks and execute them quickly, efficiently, and meticulously.   Responsibilities: Work with CEO and COO to coordinate and maintain social media channels Track healthcare and family support related content on socials Share stories Help reVIV build related content Use relevant # to support campaigns Help develop social media plans and calendars for Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc. Identify new social media outlets Create blog posts and new content Help create annual report Maintain reVIV and program branding Must maintain the confidentiality of all families and resources Must adhere to all volunteer guidelines and attend all training required by reVIV Must adhere to all guidelines in place at community organizations Skills and Qualifications: Have a passion for helping families who have a child with a critical diagnosis or facing a prolonged hospital stay Have experience with families in crisis Have marketing and social media experience Have working knowledge of canva or platform Have working knowledge of Google Drive and Docs Have experience supervising others and the ability to work as a team to accomplish a common task Be able to work independently with minimal supervision Possess a valid driver’s license and insurance with a clean driving record
