The Student Ambassador program provides students with leadership opportunities in their home community. Ambassadors participate in city events and represent the city at various community activities. Ambassadors are selected through an application process.

The Florence Community Chorus is a four-part men and women’s volunteer choral group that sings a variety of music and performs throughout the community. All who wish to join the chorus are welcome.
Instructs and interests children in various art forms, craft skills, and instruction recreational or fitness training. This is a great opportunity to individuals or groups.
Assist at special events in a variety of ways. Spend the day with us at our annual Holly Hill Golf Classic, assist with wrapping gifts for the holidays, or serving Thanksgiving dinner to over 200 members of the community.
Provide a supportive relationship with a child in order to enhance his or her self-esteem and social skills. Provides opportunities for the child to participate in community activities. Must be 21 years of age.
Supports the agency through assistance with mailings, events, filing, and other office duties.
Volunteering
Relay volunteers help with registration, logistics, participant support, and other unique opportunities. You can also be a Relay For Life team member or team leader and volunteer your time toward participating in the event and fundraising.
Volunteers donate their spare time and the use of their personal vehicle to give cancer patients in their community a much-needed lift. So if you own a car, then you are already on the road to helping save lives.
