Help run sporting competitions.
Help care for the garden/landscaping (not mowing) at two of our shelters.
You can make a difference in someone’s life by simply being present. You’ll provide support and companionship to patients and families by giving caregivers a short break.
Help with the flyering and set up of the Home Sweet Home events (August 29th-August 31st)
Students will design and plan a clothing giveaway “store” and sort donated clothing items and plan and organize items for future display in a giveaway store. (Need 4-6 self –motivated students – art, design majors)
Teach individuals with disabilities how to ride a bike. Be a “spotter” for the same rider for each of the 5 days and experience the thrill of giving the gift of riding a bike!
– Collecting and sorting through donations. – Help one-on-one with laundry (loading, unloading, folding) – Sign in/welcoming. – Watching children/keeping kids entertained (background check required)
Help us capture pictures at events and nonprofits all over the city!
Serve in a role on our board to guide policy and governance.
Assist us by attending an outreach fair as one of our ambassadors or visit and drop off agency literature to a doctor’s office.
