Way to Help Title Way to Help Content <p class="p1"><span class="s1">Homeward Bound (Covington) is an Emergency Shelter for teens ages 11-17 that are homeless or have </span><span class="s1">run away or have been removed from their home due to unsafe conditions. They stay with us short-</span><span class="s1">term to determine their next best place to reside. Homeward Bound is the only emergency shelter for teens in Northern Kentucky and the only one in Kentucky that allows walk-ins. Within three weeks we work to have our teens connected with their next permanent placement.</span></p> <p class="p1"><span class="s1">Interacting with our teens through your group is an easy way to make a huge difference in the lives of our teens. Every Thursday, w</span>e like to offer our teens a chance to participate in activities organized by volunteers. <span class="s1">Groups can host game nights, play video games, and cook and eat with </span><span class="s1">youth. </span>In the past, groups have hosted pizza parties, sororities have led makeup nights, and our boys have been taken to the local gym. You and your group can help one-time, or schedule a recurring visit, like the first Thursday of the month.<span class="s1"> Staff are always in sight.
