Serve as a Client Advocate and work one-on-one with clients.
General help is always needed to keep ACP’s building and grounds in good shape. Can you repair a leaky faucet? Trim hedges? Maybe paint a wall or two? We can always use a helping hand to accomplish these things.
Hold an educational event about LAM and The LAM Foundation in your home, school, church or other social outlet.
We can use your help in producing and distributing news releases, creating posters and flyers, and developing positive relationships with the media in your community.
Make calls, write letters and send e-mails to your legislators when there are critical issues that affect healthcare, research and rare diseases. Your voice makes a difference.
Fundraising and development opportunities include organizing special events, organizing quick fundraisers, joining The Foundation’s online fundraising efforts, soliciting major gifts, and recruiting other volunteers.
Our Counselors-in-Training assist group leaders during games, give guidance during crafts time, provide an additional watchful eye during hikes and other engaging activities.
Our Book Fair theme for spring 2017 is Happy Camper Book Fair: S’more fun with books! This season’s Book Fair will be a fun wilderness adventure full of exciting activities and s’more books. We need your help!
Our annual Spring Social is right around the corner! We need many volunteers to make it a success. Please consider volunteering!
