Our Ambassadors serve as volunteers, mentors, organizers and advocates for RefugeeConnect within the Greater Cincinnati community. If you would like to volunteer your time and skills in direct service with RefugeeConnect, attending an Ambassador Training is the first step.
We like house parties, barbecues, potluck dinners, and any other gathering that brings neighbors together to learn more about each other and what RefugeeConnect is doing to link communities together.
RefugeeConnect is only greater than the sum of its parts through our extensive partnerships with local businesses and nonprofit, faith-based, and civic organizations. We offer both basic and advanced training on welcoming refugees, engaging volunteer opportunities, long-term mentorship programs, and many other avenues for community involvement.
Create wonderful handcrafted items “krafts” to sell to raise funds for Cincinnati Children’s Hospital & Medical Center. We have multiple opportunities to sell our crafts in the fall. As a volunteer, you’ll make crafts and staff the events.
