Coordinate the schedule for the photo team; take photos of adoptable animals; edit photos; submit photos.

Cuddle, pet, brush, and play with cats; Promote adoptable cats to visitors by answering questions and giving information about needs and personalities.

Provide excellent customer service; answer phone calls to main shelter number; greet visitors; accept deliveries; clerical tasks as needed.

Assist staff with a child development program. This may include tutoring, mentoring, or playing games with the students at our Joe Williams Family Center after school program.

Help coordinate and implement special events and fundraisers, provide event set-up and clean-up, help run fair booths.

Volunteer needs may vary from camp but includes roles like camp nurse, check-in day support, pre-camp training support, etc.

Events cover a variety of topics and grade-levels. Guidance and support will be provided by lead event staff.

Meet with the girls on an agreed upon regular basis and guide them through the Girl Scout Leadership Experience.

Volunteer Coaches are needed for youth sports such as soccer, basketball, and baseball. Coaches and Buddies are also needed for the Miracle League, a baseball league for children with special needs. Character development and good sportsmanship are emphasized in all YMCA instructional youth sports.

Volunteer needs vary with each event, but typically involve volunteer and participant recruitment, registration, greeting, data entry and logistics, set up, and tear down.
