Help with our Open Minds through Art (OMA) program. Work side by side with participants who have developmental disabilities and/or dementia to maximize their creative expression. (No art ability or experience necessary)
Assist in setting up for lunch, overseeing students at lunch time, and cleaning up after lunch.
Assist the staff by playing and interacting with students under the direction of a CCA employee.
Help keep our center clean. Includes cleaning classrooms, sanitizing toys, and wiping down spaces.
Student-run clubs with educational information about HIV/AIDS, SOTENI, and/or Kenya. Clubs raise money, collect clothing, and acquire medical supplies to send to Kenya’s Villages of Hope. They also help support children through SOTENI’s Sponsorship program and teach responsible behavior that prevents AIDS.
Interns in Cincinnati work on projects that advance the strategic goals of SOTENI International while gaining experience. Projects can include fund-raising, volunteer management, grant writing, and other administrative functions.
Commit 5-10 hours per week through the fifteen-week accelerator. (September – January)
RefugeeConnect is only greater than the sum of its parts through our extensive partnerships with local businesses and nonprofit, faith-based, and civic organizations. We offer both basic and advanced training on welcoming refugees, engaging volunteer opportunities, long-term mentorship programs, and many other avenues for community involvement.
